Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern all transactions conducted with Lion & Lotus Group of Companies. By engaging in business with us, you agree to the following terms related to Payment, Delivery, and Incoterms.


Payment Terms & Policies

Accepted Payment Methods

We accept the following payment options for all transactions:

  • Telegraphic Transfer (T/T) – Recommended for international transactions.
  • Letter of Credit (L/C) at Sight – Available for bulk orders and high-value transactions.
  • Advance Payment – Required for first-time buyers and special-order products.
  • Partial Payment Terms – Negotiable for long-term clients.
  • Escrow Services – Available upon request for high-value deals.

Currency & Payment Timeline

  • All payments must be made in USD, SGD, INR, or other agreed currencies.
  • 30% Advance Payment is required to confirm an order.
  • 70% Balance Payment must be made before shipment or as per contract terms.
  • Letter of Credit (L/C) must be irrevocable and issued by a prime bank.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

  • Orders canceled before shipment may be eligible for a refund, minus processing fees.
  • Orders already dispatched cannot be canceled.
  • Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 7-10 business days.
  • Custom orders and perishable goods are non-refundable.

Late Payments & Disputes

  • Late payments beyond the agreed due date may incur a 1.5% monthly interest fee.
  • Failure to comply with payment terms may result in contract termination and possible legal action.
  • Any payment disputes will be resolved through negotiation or legal arbitration under Singapore law.

Delivery Policies

Order Processing & Shipment

  • Orders are processed upon receipt of the advance payment and confirmation of stock availability.
  • Shipping timelines vary based on product type, destination, and chosen incoterms.
  • We provide real-time shipment tracking for all export orders.

Packaging & Quality Control

  • All products are packed as per industry standards and export regulations.
  • Custom packaging is available upon request.
  • Every shipment undergoes quality checks before dispatch to ensure compliance with agreed specifications.

Shipping & Lead Time

  • Estimated shipping time depends on product availability and destination.
  • We work with reliable logistics partners to ensure timely and secure delivery.

Customs Clearance & Import Regulations

  • Buyers are responsible for custom duties, taxes, and import regulations in their respective countries.
  • We provide all necessary export documentation for customs clearance.

Incoterms We Operate Under

We perform our international trade under the following Incoterms 2020:

FOB (Free on Board)

  • We handle export clearance and deliver the goods onto the shipping vessel.
  • Buyer assumes responsibility once the goods are on board.

CIF (Cost, Insurance & Freight)

  • We cover cost, insurance, and freight until the shipment reaches the buyer’s port.
  • Buyer is responsible for customs clearance and inland transport.

EXW (Ex Works)

  • The buyer is responsible for the entire transportation process, including export clearance.
  • Pickup is arranged from our designated warehouse.

DAP (Delivered at Place)

  • We handle all transport and deliver the goods to the buyer’s location.
  • Buyer is responsible for customs clearance and import duties.

Legal Compliance & Dispute Resolution

  • All transactions with Lion & Lotus Group of Companies are governed by Singapore trade laws.
  • In case of disputes, both parties agree to resolve the matter through negotiation or arbitration in Singapore.
  • We ensure compliance with international trade laws and export regulations.
